FAQ
Frequently asked questions
If we missed yours, give us a call or send a quick message — we're glad to help.
- What does "admin-only TPA" mean?
- We administer your testing program — scheduling, lab orders, chain-of-custody, MRO coordination, recordkeeping, and reporting. We don't operate a collection site or a lab. That independence keeps every result clean and defensible.
- Do you perform the actual collection or lab work?
- No. All testing and specimen collection is performed by our certified collection-site and accredited-lab partners. We coordinate the program end-to-end so you have one point of contact.
- Which DOT modes do you support?
- Programs under 49 CFR Part 40 aligned with FMCSA, FAA, FRA, FTA, PHMSA, and USCG rules — including random consortia, pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and return-to-duty.
- How fast is turnaround?
- Negative results are typically returned within 24–48 hours of the lab receiving the specimen. Non-negatives go through MRO review, which can add additional time.
- How are you priced?
- Transparent per-test or monthly program billing with no setup fees. We'll send a custom quote based on your program size and mix of services.
- Where do you operate?
- We're based in Southeastern Wisconsin and serve clients across Racine, Kenosha, Milwaukee, and surrounding areas — with national network reach for multi-state programs.
- Can attorneys and individuals order testing directly?
- Yes. Legal and forensic DNA, drug, and other testing can be arranged for attorneys, courts, and individuals with proper chain-of-custody.
- How do I get started?
- Call (800) 669-9904 or (262) 459-4209, email admin@theimpacttpa.com, or use the contact form. We'll respond within one business day.
